Martin Linder is a University Professor and Founding Director of Industrial Design Outreach, Inc. (IDO). IDO was founded in 2003 as a direct response to the lack of design course offerings in marginalized public schools. IDO addressed this by delivering curricula that enhance creative competencies in youth through three-dimensional design experiences. IDO has reached hundreds of students in the United States, Bogota, Colombia, and Seoul, South Korea.

Martin received the prestigious Jefferson Award, a national recognition program honoring community and public programs in America, for his work with Industrial Design Outreach, Inc.
